In a world where cafes are on nearly every corner, what makes one stand out? Is it great service from a barista who knows your name and favorite drink and genuinely cares how your day is? What about an energetic atmosphere to read a book, do work, or catch up with a friend?

At Tempest, we believe in all those the behind-the-scenes details that truly makes something unique. Whether it’s preparing each espresso by weight to the tenth of a gram, staying up all night, every night to bake for you or changing our menu four times a year to reflect the seasons, we’re constantly working to make sure you have a memorable experience. With each menu change, we stay committed to making items entirely from scratch. From syrups to vinaigrettes, batters and bakery we firmly believe in producing things in house. To provide consistent quality, we proudly maintain a partnership with Lamers Dairy, and source all our bread and select pastries from our friends at Thunderbird Bakery in Oshkosh.

THE COFFEE

Tempest has a wholesale partnership with Wisconsin based Wonderstate Coffee Roasters. In 2015 their roasting operation went 100% solar powered, one of the only roasters in the world to achieve this with onsite solar panels.
